Cows have a drinking rate that can be as high as 20 liters per minute

It is high summer in Europe, with temperatures that put both humans and animals to the test.

Everyone knows that animals need fresh water.

But do you also know that cows have a drinking rate that can be as high as 20 liters per minute?

A sufficiently high flow rate in "Fast Fill" cattle drinkers or a sufficiently large (and clean), drinking trough in addition to space around the drinker in these days is more than a must.

You can see the way cows drink in the attached video.

It is not an everyday perspective, but it is very enlightening!
